Hamilton is Home to Award Winning Municipal Utilities
The City of Hamilton owns and operates all major utilities: electric, gas, water, stormwater, and waste water. As a publicly owned utility system, funds are put back into community infrastructure, which has allowed us to invest in sustainability and innovation. In 2016, we completed construction on Meldahl Hydroelectric Facility, the largest such generation asset on the Ohio River.
